Osprey bag!

I often shop at 'Clarks Village' and one of the outlet shops there is Osprey. Countless times me and my mum have gone in there and drooled over bags but always come out empty handed. THAT ALL CHANGED A FEW WEEKS BACK *she says grinning like a Cheshire cat*
Osprey had the most amazing sale on ever. This bag was reduced from £60 to either £20 or £25. (Sorry, my memory is not that great!) so what's a shopaholic like me to do!?
Of course I bought it! I would have bought one in every single colour if I had the money too!
I'm so pleased with this bag. Its such good quality and such a perfect size. It's big enough to fit a camera, my phone and a few other necessities but not too big.
The colour is so cute and goes with so many different outfits.
I may aim to collect this bag in every colour it comes in...perhaps that's a bit optimistic.
What's your go to bag?

Soul Survivor 2013!

 look at that backpack haha!
 inside the big top

 rain :(

I have just got back from an amazing week at Soul Survivor. In case you didn't already know soul survivor is a christian festival that attracts around 10,000 teenagers and young adults. It is my favourite place in the world. To be surrounded by so many people all believing the same thing you do is so motivating and inspiring. The worship at soul survivor is incredible, I danced so much on the last night that I ached so much the day after. I really want to say if you aren't doing alot next year come along to soul even if it's just for the day - I promise you it will be one of the best days of your life even if you aren't a christian. I love it there so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so much. Get the picture?

My favourite quote from soul has to be one from Robbie Dawkins -
"God can use a failure but he can't use a quitter."

Whilst at Soul I filmed a little bit and made it into a little video montage so if you wish to watch it this is the link to the video -

Hope you liked this different style of post!
God Bless

A little time to myself & a change

Hello strangers. I'm back, blogging. It feels like forever since I last sat down with my laptop feeling all rared up to write a blog post. First off I owe you all an apology. I didn't really mention that I was taking time off from blogging and that's because it wasn't planned. I have also been a bit quiet on my twitter so I do apologize for that too.

This summer has been a tough one for me and if I'm completely honest I cannot wait to be back at school and try to get back to normality. I don't really want to go into why as I don't feel now is the right time too but I have spent allot of this summer doing some work on myself and trying to do some self healing and reflecting. Me and my family still have a long way to go and like everybody I get my bad days but at least now I feel like I can get back to blogging as It's something I enjoy oh so much and find incredibly therapeutic. So on wards and upwards.

Not only am I back feeling refreshed and raring to blog, but I also feel I wish to change the theme of my blog slightly. When I started this blog I started it! I no longer want to feel restricted as to what I post. If I want to post a sea of snaps from my recent holiday I will. If I wish to try a post rambling about a product I adore I will. If I want to post a post with a simple yet inspiring quote I will. After reading Louise's post on how she now wishes her blog to be about HER, I feel inspired. I feel like she summed up how I feel exactly and has helped break me free from my blogging rut. This blog is called Lucy Abigail and the category of content is going to be: "things floating around in Lucy's head".

So there you go. I'm excited to see what is round the corner for my blog and hope you will join me along every step of the way. Thankyou for everything up till now - every comment, view or tweet means the world to me.

FOTD: MUA & Rimmel

Foundation - Rimmel match perfection

Eyeliner - Rimmel Black Kohl eyeliner
Liquid eyeliner - MUA waterproof
Eyeshadow - MUA Heaven and Earth palette
Mascara - Natural Collection lash build
Lipstick - Kate Moss for Rimmel London 07

This tend to me my weekend 'go to' makeup, minus the lipstick. I wore this look to a family party back in the Easter holidays. I always end up rubbing lipstick off before I ever actually get out in public. I almost feel like I look like a little child trying to imitate 'big girls'. Hmm not made my mind up weather the lipstick is yay or nay. What are your opinions?

Bella Sorella

Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to the Bella Sorella VIP night in Bristol. Lydia, Georgia and her team are travelling the country making their Bella Sorella collection available to everyone!
I was so impressed with their collection. The dresses are beautiful and the prices were so reasonable! There was also a massive array of different scented candles - I must admit I spent a vast amount of the night smelling all the dreamy candle scents! The collection was colourful, floral and very girly. I highly recommend that if you can't make it to the store nearest you - that you go online to and have a little browse around: I promise you won't be disappointed!
Here's the link to the video I put up on my YouTube with all the footage I filmed in it - plus an interview with Lydia herself!
